Okay, yeah i know, I'v forgotten about this place again, MY BAD!!!!!
Only thing is, this time theres been reasons!!!! I'v actually been exercising
Yup you read that right!!!!
I know that part of the reason I did this new site was to update y'all on stuff like that, but tbh it jus kinda got away from me. Imagine if you will a bearded Vampyr last year, weighing in at around 116kg, and only jus able to do 5 whole km's if I was lucky on my bike........ pretty bad huh........
.......Well now imagine the same guy, now down to 109/110kg, and doing an average of 14-16km a night, 4 nights a week (monday-thursday)....
Impressed? well I hope you are just a little!!!! I didn't get straight to that 16km though, when I got on the bike this spring i somehow did 10km 1st time, and through the 1st week n half managed that, then slowly increased to 12-14...... then i hit a bit of a wall, i listen to deathstars "everything destroys you" album, which has been a huge help, but as always with the mental health/meds thing, my concentration soon wavers, and i struggle to continue
So have I found a solution? well KINDA yessss!!!!!!....... now instead of doing it all in 1 go, I split it up into 2 or 3 groups, usually aiming for about 7-8km in the 1st wave, then have a 5-10 min rest, then push for another 5-6km, then another rest, then if im feeling in decent nick, ill go for a 3rd try, but usually this is jus for 2-4km (usually 3km)
I did take a weeks pause while the european athletics were on though, as the bike is usually the last thing i do before bed, and i didnt wanna be doing it at gone 10pm at night wen the days sport had finished (this is kinda mostly due to it being dark, so my mind isnt in a 'doing stuff' frame of mind
Recently though iv had to hold back from the 16ish km's due to overdoing it, and my knee hurting, so atm its only getting about 8-10km out of me
speed wise, im going around 35kmh, 1km in around 1min40sec, 3km in 5 mins, 6km in 10mins..... but that can vary depending on mindset and body issues, the fastest iv gone so far has been jus over 39.5kmh, which was a huge shock, and i think it was that what did my knee is slightly, so currently im only doing low 35.3-4kmh, rather than the higher end of 35kmh
Anyway, i hope this has satified anyone curiousness about that aspect of my current life journey
signing off
be good now!!!
